My name is Steen, and I work fractional in the field of digital marketing. So, if your company needs someone who can take charge of the digital realm but doesn’t require a full-time employee, please read on.

As a fractional part of your team, I can contribute by providing insights into data, strategic guidance, helping establish shared understanding of activities, and be responsible for making things happen as a project leader for new digital activities. Or simply just getting things done.

As a leader, my philosophy revolves around maintaining transparency and communication between employees and leaders. For me, that means dialogue is a crucial part of leadership.

I’m originally trained as a translator (English/Danish) from CBS (1998) and have a master’s degree from the University of Copenhagen in Cross-Media Communication (2016).

Broad Understanding of the Digital Landscape

I probably built my first website back in the early 90s and have since my studies worked with most aspects within marketing, sales, web, and e-commerce.

This means that I’ve worked across marketing, web, IT, and product development – and that I understand all the little pitfalls and challenges that can arise with online projects.

The oldest thing I could find was a screenshot from the Wayback Archive from 1998 of pint.dk, a running club I co-founded.

They call it Web 1.0 these days. It was the time when Jubii was getting big in Denmark and people used Internet Explorer as a browser – and incidentally, the same year Google was founded.

How Do We Work Best

I love discussing strategy, understanding where a company wants to go, figuring out how to get there, and simultaneously being part of bringing it to life.

When working with digital marketing, it’s crucial to continuously test, optimize, and follow up on campaigns and content. Additionally, having a deep understanding of the company and its products is vital to finding the best solutions.

Therefore, maintaining continuity in the collaboration between your company and me is essential to achieve the best results. That’s the idea of fractional rather than freelance.

I want to work long-term with your brand, and you want consitency in your digital marketing efforts. I believe that both parties benefit most from a solid understanding of each other and what it takes to foster development.

Just like with permanent full-time employees, there are advantages to having dedicated freelance employees. It’s more flexible for the company with freelancers, and compared to agencies, the cost will be significantly lower.

My extensive experience in digital marketing allows me to take on various tasks depending on your company’s needs.
